At the end of June 2014 the Commission of the development of financial measures to combat money laundering (FATF for short), consider a paper about the regulation of сriptocurrency in which this concept will be introduced for the first time. His comments to journalists in this regard gave Eugene Volovik, the head of one of the Rosfinmonitoring units.

He noted, that at the present time in our country, as in others, there is an increaseing interest in virtual currencies between users, in particular Bitcoin. For example of how the traditional mail have been replaced by emails and various applications for smartphones, capable of transmitting messages in this way criptocurrency may possible replace the usual money in future. Volovyk called that process"total automation", which has touched all aspects of society, and touches the financial market the same way.

As the expert noted, Bitcoin is not only becoming more popular means of payment in trade transactions, but it is a subject of study by specialists. According to him, the example of Bitcoin practiced variants of more serious criptocurrencies that in the future, which will be even less volatile and safer.

In fact, today criptocurrency becomes the main topic of discussions in financial institutions in many countries. And only two countries (Thailand and Iceland) have prohibited Bitcoin. Authorities of other states concerned with the question whether to recognize Bitcoin, or follow the example of countries, which have strongly suppress of the criptocurrency development.
